Most of the people are doing some types of additional business to generate an extra amount of money. Since, with the up gradation of  technology, you can do everything with the help of internet. 

Teenagers are becoming more obsessed with the use of technologies and internet to earn money online, you can do that too, there are various options are available for making money as a teenager and growing your own additional business. 

Some teenagers may get confused to choose which path is best for them, Freelancing and Blogging are the popular ways for online earning in 2021. 

So, I would recommend every teenager to go into these fields for making money blogging and freelancing, Take a look at a survey of blogging and freelancing, 60% bloggers in United States earn an average of $25000 per month and 76% of freelancers in United States earn an average of $50000 per month. 

So, these are some facts about blogging and freelancing career in United States, Now, you understand why these two careers are some of the most successful and popular careers to make a good amount of money as a teenager.

If you are a teenager and worried about investment or your qualifications to start these careers then don't worry because, Blogging and freelancing does not require any investment, degree and experience to get work, Your blogging income is majorly dependent upon you and in freelancing you make money based on your skills but here is a little bit difficulty for you to choose that which is a better option to make money as a teenager.

In simple language, Blogging is content writing work, you have to use your writing skills to provides your readers a special information or your opinion. 

As a blogger, You publish your content and all earning is depends on your blog posts and your posts views. Blogging is a reliable option that helps people ta earn money as a passive income, because once your content get regular readers then you can make money while you are sleeping.

3- Control on workload: You can choose your projects to avoid excessive workload, Freelancers can work as much or as little as they want, I think this is the best benefit of being a Freelancer. 

-Freelancing Cons 

1- Irregular Income: This is probably one of the biggest negatives in Freelancing. Freelancers always have think about their next job because if you don't have a job then you won't get paid. 

2- Lack of Free time: you wont be able to separate work time from personal time, You not only have to do the work, you have to find the work for money. 

3- It can be stressful sometimes: Being a freelancer is not a cup of tea, You can't take  holidays or a break because you can't make money while you are off. Before making freelancing a full time career, think about it.


-Blogging Pros

1- You can start start your career free of cost: Blogging require low investment , you only have to pay for your domain and web hosting fees and the fees is around 3000 per year. 

There is a Free website available for blogging, blogger.com is a Free website to start blogging and it is hosted by google. You can use Blogger, if you don't want to invest your money. 

2-  Flexibility: There's no deadlines to stress, you can write your blogs whenever you want and it does not effect your earning because blogging makes money via passive income and your blogs can make money any time of the day. 

3- Lot of different ways to make money: Blogging helps you to earn money in lot of different ways .

There are couple of options are available for you to make money from blogging as a teenager.


- Ad revenue ( making money from Adsense google is the best way of earning for beginners 

- Advertising content ( You can advertise companies products on your blog post and company will pay you for advertising their products )

- Selling your own products and services (Selling your own products and services is an effective way to make money from blogging) 

-Blogging cons

1- It's time consuming: writing a good content is not easy and to get views, your content should be at least 800 words. 

Other than writing, you have to spend time getting traffic on your blog and it takes time because you always have to be updated on social media and you need to post on social media more frequently to catch the reader's attention. 

2- It takes time to earn money: Earning from blogging is a slow process and sometimes it takes 1 year to start making a good amount of money. you need to be patience in your blogging career because you can't make money instantly from blogging.
